About The Event
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon End of the Year picnic at Millers Creek Park to welcome Dhul Hijja! We will have a potluck lunch followed by a Hajj & Prophet Ibrahim (AS) book read outloud session, and ending the afternoon with a Hajj centered arts & craft session lead by Nadia Khan (limited spots available). The kids will also be free to play sports and explore the park.Â

Dhul Hijja Craft JK - Grade 2
A fun hajj-related art project lead by Nadia Khan for kids JK - Grade 2. "Counting around the Kaaba. Count and paint around the Kaaba and learn about tawaf" Participants will go home with their 8"x10" canvas painting. A little younger and older can join as well as you know your child best!

A fun hajj-related art project lead by Nadia Khan for kids Grade 3 - Grade 6. Painting Kaaba activity - a lesson on Unity & Diversity. Participants will go home with their 8"x10" canvas painting. A little younger and older can join as well as you know your child best!

Access to paints, brush and an 8"x10" canvas will be provided. This activity will be unsupervised and open-ended for older kids to paint their own interpretation of unity and hajj.
